HydroJug, Inc., in collaboration with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is initiating a voluntary recall for certain 14 oz. sport tumblers due to a potential safety concern. A limited number of these tumblers were found to have rivets that could loosen over time, which may cause the handle to detach and create a choking hazard, particularly for children. Customers who own one of the affected products are urged to stop using it immediately and follow the instructions to receive a free replacement lid.
The recall applies to 14 oz. sport tumblers sold between May 17, 2025, and June 6, 2025. Specific designs included in this recall are Daisy Checker, Bows, Sports, Dinosaur, and Cowgirl. Affected products can be identified by the UPC codes printed on the packaging, which include 810084150177, 810084150450, 810084150566, 810084150580, and 810084150610. Each tumbler may also have either the serial number 2350101 or no serial number at all, which is etched on the bottom of the product once the rubber boot is removed. Visual identification of the handle attachment and rivet patterns can further assist in confirming whether a tumbler is impacted.
To ensure safety, all customers who purchased a recalled tumbler are instructed to stop using the lid immediately. The affected lid should be marked clearly with the word “Recalled” to prevent accidental use. Customers are then asked to remove the rubber boot and take a photo of the bottom of the tumbler showing either the serial number 2350101 or the absence of a serial number. These photos, along with order details and a shipping address, should be sent to HydroJug via email at officialhydrojug@outlook.com. This process allows HydroJug to verify eligibility and provide a replacement lid at no cost.
Once eligibility is confirmed, a replacement lid will be shipped to the customer. The recalled tumbler lid should be properly disposed of after receiving the replacement. HydroJug requests that a photo of the disabled or permanently marked lid be submitted to ensure it is no longer in use, adding an extra layer of safety for households with children.
This recall emphasizes the company’s commitment to consumer safety and product quality. Customers are encouraged to act immediately if they own one of the affected 14 oz. sport tumblers, following the instructions carefully to receive a replacement lid and avoid any potential hazard. By addressing the issue promptly, HydroJug aims to maintain trust and ensure that all users can continue to enjoy their products safely.
